I accidentally cracked an egg while candling its on day 17 or 18

The title pretty much says it its a really bad crack it partially crushed I don't think it broke the membrane I will try to get some photos

Put nail varnish on the holes ASAP have seen perfectly good chicks hatch from nail varnished eggs

Is there blood? Was the chick still moving after you cracked it? I don't think sealing the cracks is necessary at this stage since it is so close to hatch. Pictures will help.

I think it was still moving no there wasn't blood the person I was with when this happened thought there was a tiny whole in the membrane but when I looked closely I couldn't see anything

Really nothing you can really do for it in the case except hope for the best.
