I accidentally cracked an egg while candling its on day 17 or 18

Super glue or clear fingernail polish etc. I've done it before and it worked. Just have to pay attention if it's in the area where it'll try to zip the shell

I've had an egg that was cracked pretty bad on day 11.
I put a bandaid over the crack and removed it on day 18. He hatched just fine and grew up to be a beautiful rooster.

Hi!! I did the same thing at about the same time. I was placing them back into the incubator this morning after candling and plan to start lockdown tomorrow. Can’t see membrane and am terrified of re-candling because im clumsy and tired (worked a 12 hour shift last night and got home at 9am this morning so prob more clumsy than normal). Should I do anything? I’m afraid to handle it because I don’t want to drop it again and make it worse. But it was moving and vessels looked great when i candled it moments before so if i need to do something to keep this thing alive and get it to day 21 (or 22) and beyond, I will give it a go or recruit my more steady handed partner for the job. If at this point, it looks fine then i will just lockdown as planned and watch it nervously for the next few days.
The black spot is non-toxic marker so i could keep them straight when candling and hatching. I dont see a hole in the egg itself. I think its over the pointy end, so im not sure if this makes it better or worse.
