Hi!! I did the same thing at about the same time. I was placing them back into the incubator this morning after candling and plan to start lockdown tomorrow. Can’t see membrane and am terrified of re-candling because im clumsy and tired (worked a 12 hour shift last night and got home at 9am this morning so prob more clumsy than normal). Should I do anything? I’m afraid to handle it because I don’t want to drop it again and make it worse. But it was moving and vessels looked great when i candled it moments before so if i need to do something to keep this thing alive and get it to day 21 (or 22) and beyond, I will give it a go or recruit my more steady handed partner for the job. If at this point, it looks fine then i will just lockdown as planned and watch it nervously for the next few days.
The black spot is non-toxic marker so i could keep them straight when candling and hatching. I dont see a hole in the egg itself. I think its over the pointy end, so im not sure if this makes it better or worse.
