NW Missouri
I went to a swap meet in Fillmore Missouri ( Small Northwest Missouri Town ) thinking I might find a couple overpriced hens or something but wanted to waste some time lol.

I got there and found a HUGE variety of chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, rabbits, dogs, and probably some animals I didnt see because my 3 year old son was touching everything and playing farmer so I had to chase him lol.

I found some 6 month old Bantams that were adorable, I have no use for them but I wanted them lol. The guy wanted $30 for a trio which seemed fair really but I looked around and found a nice couple selling 4 to 6 week old bantams for $1 each

of course even though I didnt need them I suddenly needed them more than life itself lol. We shopped around and couldnt really find anything else we wanted so we went back to look at them, they were loading up their van with the birds to leave so we caught them right in time

I asked how much for all 22 and he said if I took them all $0.75 each, $16.50 for 22 well started bantams

Sorry about the crappy phone pics, I will take more detailed pictures when I get them settled in.

YAY YAY YAY lol, sorry super excited lol

Yay!!!!!!!!! Great deal for those bantams. Would love to see pics!

I just picked up 6 chicks last night too... totally unexpected, but that's okay. Have a few weeks before I have to build the bigger coop!

Nice flock and much nicer deal! You were so lucky to get those precious ones so cheap!! Did the seller mentioned what kind of bantam breeds they are?

So cute!
The little tan and black one in the upper left of the first photo is the spitting image of a little Easter Egger bantam that I got from My Pet Chicken.
I did a double-take when I saw her! She even has the same "expression" on her face LOL!

She is my favorite and I can't help but spoil her! Really sweet and outgoing.
I hope yours has the same sweet temperament!
Best of luck with them all--adorable!!

Yeah I am not sure what is what just yet, I will try to get some better pictures of the different colored ones when I get time. There are quite a few black ones, some of them have tails that are normal looking and some are sticking up all prissy like lol, not sure what they are but they are all cute in their own little way
