I always think the best of people, and I'm not often disappointed

I'm reading on Paypal right now...looking up how to file a dispute.

I'll probably wait through the weekend just to give him/her plenty of time to contact me back.

You so won't be disappointed the EE's, we have two batches growing out and beautiful colors from blue to blue/black to wheaten creamy, the second batch has more of those plus even more colors.

O.K. I checked out my options with PayPal. I have to allow 7 days from the agreed upon shipping date before I can file a claim against the seller.

In all honesty, I just hope she sends me the eggs. I'm so disappointed.

There could be a lot of things that happened. Did you check to see if the person came back on here after she took your money? Has this person been on BYC for a while? I don't buy anything from anyone unless they have been on here over a year and have at least 200 posts. Maybe her computer went down, maybe something happened to a family member, maybe something happened to her. I hope her computer went down and it's a big mis-understanding. I have come to trust all the members on here.

I hope she gets back to you.

He/she has not been on since June 16th...just after the auction ended.

I paid for the eggs on June 11th. My last contact from the seller was June 20th...I had emailed her making sure he/she had received my payment and confirm the shipping date. I received a reply confirming he/she had received the payment and assurances the eggs would ship on June 28th. I emailed the seller on the 28th asking for the tracking number and did not recieve a reply. I have sent 4 more emails/PM's and have not received even one reply.

I understand that things happen...I'm just hoping for some communication.

I'm very excited!!

when its that bad the Mods need to know so others on here are protected and we dont get sucked into the same deal with them

I like to assume the best, too. It could be they had an accident, or became ill, or had a death in the family. Where do they live? Heck, they could have had a tornado or flood. Take what steps you need to, but don't get down about it.

and I do also, I have had a poster on here reach out a loving hand to my Grandson went above and beyond to make him happy and thats what this place is about the good of people....on another site in fact the site that sent me here a poster had a tornado hit her farm last night and another was loading up his truck with chainsaws and heading out to help its what these these places are about.its what makes them so heartwarming and good. One bad apple can hurt.on the other hand she could have been hit with something awful and thats what needs to be found out does that poster need our help

Okie - you're exactly right. That's exactly how I feel about this sight. I love this place and I have had probably 15 transactions on here that have been flawless.

I have sent eggs twice to people who have had problems with their hatches(not with eggs that I'd sent - both were for people who'd had lost their entire hatch and a kid was going to be soooo dissapointed. I'm a sucker for kids!) both had lost power and lost their hatches, another I sent a generator we had laying around - I just had them cover the cost of shipping, and two weeks ago I even gave another member on here two RIR chicks for her grandson to enjoy....she lost one, so I'm about to PM her and offer her more.

I just strongly believe in "taking care of eachother" in this world. There is so much "bad" out there it feels good to share and make the world a better place in any small way that you can.

I won't be unreasonable with her. It's not my style. I'm really a push-over. I'm just disappointed.
