I am a retired geneticist from Indiana University making appropriate crosses to produce all blue, mottled offspring. I need 2 - 4 Ancona hens to breed to a homozygous blue mottled rooster that I have produced. I have not been able to find any available Ancona pullets or hens.

I have them and I found them at tractor supply in the spring. They where chicks so don't know if this helps

That's a breed I think would be best to get from a breeder than a hatchery. I'm sure you want quality birds aside from color genetic reasons. You may want to see if there is a Anacona breed thread to post on.
