If you take time to learn about their behaviors with each other and to maintain dominance over the ganders they aren't really bad. Socialize them but be careful not to do things like, hand feeding them for example, that are considered submissive by them. They are smart birds and train well but ya dont turn yer back on em... especially during breeding season or when they are hatching.
My oldest son refuses to take head and the gander is always after him.. however he is 26 so.. he can deal.;)
But the gander never ever chalanges me anymore.. he may again at some point, but i will always react the same.:)
