My mom has said no so far :hmm (also, this time, I'm not sure if she's fully committed, ETA the hen, not my mom:lau)
If I can/could, I would buy some eggs from a family that sells ONLY eggs at our local farmers' market. They have Marans, Olive-eggers, Ameraucanas, sexlinks...
I wouldn't tell the egg people I am going to try to hatch them though;)
Last time we were there, I went up to them and asked them a ton of questions, though, so that's how I know some of the breeds they have:oops:

Oh don't worry, I will! I also have a mission trip coming up, so I would have to wait a while before, if it worked out.

I enjoy making plans in the hypothetical :oops:
