I am blaming all of you hatchaholics for this!

Lori, my situation sounds just like yours...but with a few others.

I have 5 in one nursery, 11 in another nursery, 11 in a brooder in the house, and 23 in the bator. Ack..what have I done?

I don't know what made me think it is spring already..heck, I've got snow and ice on the ground and more snow coming this week.

Well, at least we're all in it together, right.

Here's the rationale that I just came up with for hatching at this time of year:

Chicks born this time of year will be healthier and hardier in the long run because they have been exposed to harsher temperatures than their Spring/Summer born counterparts.

How does that sound?
