I am doing it---ordering meaties!

So a lady I work with and her DH process about 50 chickens per year.

I asked if she'd process mine (I want to buy some meat birds) and if so, what would it cost? She said she would do it at no cost--just for the fun of coming up and having a "butchering party." Of course, I'll be 8-9 months preggo when they are ready to butcher and it will be 100 degrees outside, unless I wiat until fall and order them in th

So it's settled. I will be ordering 15-25 meaties soon!

Now I just have to find a cheap tractor or build them something!

Any design tips or ideas?

I just built something nearly identical to this a couple of days ago--which is where I'll be putting my 20 meaties once they get out of the brooder. Very cheap to build.
