THERE WAS JUST A DEAD CHICKEN IN MY YARD THAT WASN'T EVEN MINE!! IT HAD NO HEAD!!! My brother found it and said I think one of your chickens is dead and it wasn't mine. I am so scared that mine will be whatever killed that poor animals next victims. That can't happen. Ahhh. Please help! I am getting a camera that hooks up to your phone and I am super duper scared that my children will be slaughtered! I love them with all my heart. As I do all my animals

Don't freak out!!

Secure your birds. lock em up tight and wait until you have a plan and idea what killed them. My guess is weaselish fur bearing critter.

Usually racoons go for the head first if they can reach it. If not they will grab any part they can reach through the wire. It must have been disturbed by something to leave its kill. I would check with the neighbors to see if they lost a chicken.
Can you post pictures of your set up so people can help determine where you can beef up security?

Ok. So I just got this new roo and he is already full grown and he is freaking out when ever I put my hand in the box he is in. How do I get him to trust me? I am gonna show him and how will I do that if he won't trust me?

That fake Hamburger for dogs and cats will tame any chicken, You offer them that and they are your friend for life.

I gave some to my SS tonight and 4 of them jumped out of the cage and onto my arms and shoulders for it..

Seriously? Ill try this on my pullet I call Nervous Nelly, if it works on her...it will work on anychicken!!

It might take a few times, my birds know where I keep it. They start begging when I walk to the cabinet.

How do I get him to not be mean? He acts like a sweetheart but he won't even budge coming up to he little chicken wire window he has in the box. How can I get him to absolutely love me?
