Oooh, lucky you!
I have heard from several sources that they are among the most friendly of all chickens. Mille Fleur is actually just the color (it means thousand flowers in French) but in the US we often refer to the breed as Mille Fleur.
Such beautiful birds.

If they are Mille Fleur d'Uccles, then they are really sweet birds. At least my 2 pullets are. They are friendly, chatty and not flighty at all. I loved them so much I had to order more colors from Ideal!

I have d'Uccles, too. They are the sweetest birds!
And what eye candy!

Mine will somewhat cooperate with photo sessions if I have lots of bread (they don't like clothes, though).
And when I snap my fingers the roo will run over and 'talk' to me. Sometimes he'll even fly up onto the bench to make it easier to pet him

If you are getting u'ccles that is what I have and They are just 13 days old now but are so friendly and are the first to come running when my hand is in the brooder. They don't struggle when being held and are just soooo pretty. I don't know the sexes on mine but hoping at least one is a female! If they both turn out to be roos I will be ordering more of them again because they are so beautiful and sweet.
