So I had 2 chickens but one passed so then I can’t really get another one since there is no place to get them near me, plus it’s a pretty small hen, a friend of mines has 2 chickens that are 4x bigger than my chicken and my chicken is completely terrified of it, should I let my friend take csre? Or I leave the chicken in a coop with dirt and towels and food (IM LEAVING FOR A WEEKK)

Can your friend not come over to take care of her? I would not recommend taking her to the friend's house.

Not sure what the towels are for? The chicken needs to be left with more than enough food and water for the week. Ideally you should have a friend or neighbor come by once a day to check in on it and add more food/water if needed.

Could you get just 2 chicks to raise up with her? You already had three before. That would help a ton. or rehome her. She could get seriously depressed, they are flock animals.

Ask a friend or a neighbor to take care of them. Or put down fresh shavings, food, and water, and leave her. They are like cats, if you have a feeder and waterer that will hold for a week, they will be fine

It did had a chicken that was raised since it was a chick, it was raised with another chick but then that chicken got caught by an animal :(

I was planning of rehoming but that chicken is terrified of big chickens, a friend of mine has two big ones would it be best if I let my friend do it? That chicken loves humans

I would say "that depends" - how experienced is your friend with chickens? Does she have ample space for 3 chickens? How would she handle it if your chicken just can't integrate in with hers?

On the other hand since chickens are social animals, and yours did have another chicken to live with before, it would be best for her to have a flock, whether it's you getting more chickens in the near future, or finding someone with a flock who can take her in.
