I am grateful for...

I am grateful for:

- a husband who knows me through and through - and still loves me!
- our son who in turn, is grateful to me for not selling him to the highest bidder
- memories of my mom who passed 5 years ago this month and her unconditional love
- a sister who is also my best friend and can finish my sentences when my mind goes faster than my mouth
- the peace and tranquility of our home (wait, did I use home, peace and tranquil in the same sentence?!)
- the beauty of our land
- my chickens for the free therapy they give on a daily basis
- my job
- the health of myself and my loved ones
- BYC and all of the wonderful people here who never fail to offer friendship, advice, support and comic relief

HA! The highest bid I received for him wouldn't even cover the cost of a mutt chicken.

Just joking - he is actually a great 20 year old guy with with a killer sense of humor that keeps me laughing! Plus he loves my chickens even if he won't admit it!

Just watched Oprah and wanted to add a few things

I am so grateful to not live in a wartoren country. That I can walk outside and live my life without fear.

I am grateful that I live in a society were I can still go to school, work, decide who I will marry, etc. eventhough I am a woman.
