On Christmas morning I stuff new hollow sterilized beef bones with pate or brunshwiger (sp?) for my dogs. Oh my gosh- they go nuts over it!!!

Absolutely not.I buy christmas gifts for both my dogs, my rats, and my ducks.

Mine send a box of biscuits to our neighbor's dog. Isn't that sweet of them?

my ducks/chicken will get the leftover chinese fried rice and canned cat food , hey it comes in a "gift"box from christmas eve and the dog will get some old shoes from the second hand store. They already know us there. She'll also get the leftover hambone from our dinner. Maybe a new chew toy that will last longer than five minutes if i can find one. She can shred plastic bowls down to nothing.

No way you're the only one! We've always gotten gifts for the pets. I had a dog when I was a kid that was an expert at unwrapping his own gifts. The dogs I have now just tear into them like the wrapping is the actual gift, but Schnitzel very carefully unwrapped his - no matter what it was. I wish I had video of that dog opening his Christmas presents.
