Debi, another newbie who can already see how much you add to this board and how loved you are here. I'm fond of you already myself. I'll pray for low numbers and easy treatment.

Please try to stay off the medi-internet. I was a medical librarian before I was a nurse and the amount or misleading, incomplete, and straight-up trash information out there is staggering. The chicken-internet, on the other hand-- very therapeutic.

Stay strong. There's a lot that can be done, whatever comes back.

Debi, I would guess that every person on this board is thinking about and praying for you. Keep busy so that your brain doesn't have too much time to think. Good results, good results, good results------- Sourland George Read back enough to see what it is that you may be dealing with. My nephew contracted this 30+ years ago through blood transfusions (prior to testing). With the new treatments he is controlled and living a normal life.

Just caught up on what "IT" is. A former coworker of mine was diagnosed with HEP-C a few years ago. She has a blood disorder, and received a transfusion as a teenager - they think that was the probable source. I don't remember the details of her treatment, but I remember she participated in a study of a new protocol. She is now considered cured.

D is one of the most conservative people I know - married the first guy she dated, rarely drinks, NEVER did drugs. HEP-C doesn't care who you are or what you did in a previous life. And it IS treatable.
