I am looking for hatching eggs for my kids

I am looking for a few eggs to hatch out with my kids. We are located in sharon springs NY. I had my hens under light over the winter and removed it 2 weeks ago so they are not laying right now. I dont want to order eggs as to avoid shipping affects. If anyone is in the local area and wouldnt mind selling a dz or so eggs please let me know the breed and price. My kids are doing a spring of self productions by planing and growing their own gardens, perserving the food, growing feeds for the animals (sunflowers, legums, and a few others) I would love to teach them about hatching out their own eggs and let them help raise the chicks geting back to basics. thank you for any help. I'm about two hours from you, and I have fertile eggs. Nothing fancy, you could get purebred cochins, buff orpingtons, easter eggers, or mutts. I sell them for $6 a dozen. I go to glens falls regularly so I could meet you there. Just an option in case you can't find anyone more local
