Chapter 20
'Well, we are missing some friends....' Genius said. 'Chicken friends. They got taken away to another place, and we are assuming that they are in another big white building. We need you to buck the doors down, or something like that. It's too complicated for us to open the doors ourselves.'
'Okay, easy enough. You can--' Chunk got interrupted by Genius.
'No, I want you to help us first. We don't want anything else to happen to them.'
'Um, okay.'
'But you can bring a partner if you want. Just choose who, and he can come too.'
Chunk walked over to a cage, with a big brown and white cow in it. It's big brown eyes sparkled in the little beam of sunlight, coming in through the opened door. Genius and I went over and stood next to Chunk.
'We're gonna get you out of here,' I smiled at the brown cow. 'quickly. You saw how we got Chunk out. But- what would you like us to call you?'
'All my friends call me, Otis.'
'Okay, Otis! Let's get you out of here.'
Genius and I did our thing. Hopped on the bars, stuck the glowing key in the keyhole, turned it and opened the cage door. Otis ran out of it, prancing around happily.
'Thank you guys! I never knew a silly chicken, the size of my head, could help me out. Now what do you need?' Otis cheered.
We started to walk out of the door. Genius and I went out first, side by side. Chunk and Otis followed behind us. Otis walked up to me and repeated what he had asked before.
'A friend or two of ours have been taken by the humans to another place. We are thinking another white building- Like this one.' I told him.
'Well, that can't be good. What do you need us to help you with?'
'We need you and Chunk to open the doors for us and keep a look out for humans.'
'Okay- We're on it!'
Chunk and Otis ran over to the next building. Genius and I trotted along. Chunk tried first. He rammed into the door, but nothing happened. Then Otis tried, but still no good results. Finally, both of them bucked the door down. Genius and I went running in.
'We're coming Mar--' I paused.
We were, surrounded by pigs. OINK! OINK! There was a million snorts and banging noises going on. It reeked.
