I'm in the strike up a conversation mob. Simple reason, that mix of hen can have combs that are all over the place straight up, floppy, half and half. Could be as simple as she tried to go broody and got a little bit dried up and off her game.

It's summer time there, grab a drink and start a conversation. Walk up to the fence, after some small talk say hey I'm in the mood for some chicken on the barbie, yours over there looks mighty ripe for the grill, how about you supply that crappy looking chicken and I'll supply to rotisserie. Just an idea I guess it all depends on if you like your neighbor or not.
