I am not too sure what I have here: I am new to all of this.

When we bought our farm I was looking for something to get rid of snakes. Peacocks came up and it said they are good at keeping them at bay. It intrigued me. I had always loved the peacocks at the zoo. So I was at the farm and fleet and there where two peacocks for sale there. To be honest my better judgement told me this "barnyard animal broker" didn't have the greatest selection of animals and none of the chickens I was looking for were there. So I bought peacocks instead of the chickens I was in search for teehee.
The seller told me one was an India Blue and the other was and India blue jade mix?? I am also not sure on their ages.
The India Blue has been sluggish. No mites so I gave him a dewormer and am keeping a close eye on him I don't think they were well cared for before I got them.

Any thoughts on age or kind and any

advice is greatly appreciated

It looks like you have two cute India Blue boys there. it may be that one has some green blood in his history, but I don't see anything in those pictures.

However, in the first picture, your guy looks like he might have some problem with his eye, perhaps a sinus infection?
Can you post a better picture of him? It's this guy:

Some peapeople here have a lot of experience with that kind of thing and will be able to advise you.

Not sure if this pic is any better:/ I really want him to feel better. After the dewormer he has gotten energy back and is eating better but like I said any advice is appreciated. I feel like such a newbie and don't want it to end up being Ron down fall. ( they are named Ron and Harry)

Someone will be along to help you with the eye problem, it seems to be a pretty common thing in some folks peafowl.

Thank you guys so much I really appreciate all the input and advice. I really want to make sure these boys are taken care of. Just trying to learn the ropes. I tried to get better pics. The eye you guys pointed out I see what you mean after looking at that other thread as well. It doesn't look as bad as the one in the thread but it is more of a whitish color. I took pics of both eyes but the sun is not treating me

well so not sure if these help or not.
