;) Maybe you should host a few of us, so that we can ride the horses to the chicken coop and evaluate first hand what is going on.

Then when we enjoy our breakfast of fresh scrambled eggs and homemade gluten free bread, we could discuss what might be causing the feather loss.

Then over hot chocolate, in front of the warm fire in the fireplace, we could share our thoughts with you. :D

What do you feed the girls?

What are the dimensions of their coop? Their run?

Would you post pictures of the coop, the run, and the backsides/bare rumps of the chickens?

Here is a pic of my poor Patsy, this was a couple weeks ago at the peak of her molt. It could easily just be the normal molt. Is the coop covered in feathers like this?

Be prepared, egg laying drops off dramatically with molting.
