I am officially old

I am old and apart from the rest of you, I've got a six year old DD, instead of a 20 year old. I'm 45 and will be 46.

You are all still children! My grand daughter just got her drivers license. That qualifies me as old.

; however, I don't feel old until I look in the mirror.

I'm 48 so I'm not too far ahead of you, but where do you get the energy? I have my 2-year-old grandson every now and then for overnight, and I'm usually worn out and ready for him to go home when it's time to take him back to his mom & dad!

ETA: I have a granddaughter who will be 6 in October.

HH, I don't have the energy like I used to. Scatic nerve damage, obesity, chronic fatique, all started after I had my daughter and my body warrantee has already expired the minute I gave birth to her. Hubby has a bit more energy than I do. My parents are 69 and 65 already and they get tired too. We all sit around like old foggies and rather watch the kids play outside. What I do is to play with my daughter is board games, coloring, painting anything that does not require ME to do alot of excurstions, I'm good. The pros about having kids late, is the patience and more knowledge with life and cons are you are not as quick or fast and can't take the falls as good as you used to.

Helpful hint to the Old to save $$$. Viagra being kinda pricey for people on fixed incomes, so I had it analysed to see if I could find cheaper way. Turns out you can make in your garage. It's just a mix of Miracle Grow and Fix-a-Flat.

When I read the title I knew Your first born just turned 18. I'm feelin Ya. It just happened to me in Nov. You just have to look at it like, your kids are catching up with you. Your not getting older, they are....
