I am questioning what breed this Roo actually is?

He went from Big Mama to Big Daddy in very short order! Grandkids named them.

Offspring should be great dual purpose birds. My cockerels from a similar cross haven't been butchered quite yet, but they're very meaty looking, with nice broad breasts and chunky thighs.

Awsome...I have a rooster just like him!!! he will be a year old in april....he is really really big, and he is the alpha leader of my flock. If your roo is anything like mine, he will start to get some teal color on his tail. Also if your roo is like mine....read up on dealing with aggressive roosters lol!!!!! You have an awesome barred rock mix rooster there....enjoy
