I am really disappointed

The number of rude and unnecessary responses on a number of threads lately has me rather sad. I try to follow these rules:

1) If I don't like it, back out and leave it alone
2) If I can't say something nice, back out and leave it alone
3) If I disagree, back out and leave it alone

It is really not that important to say your piece in a rude fashion on threads that are perfectly innocent in their intention.

This is just me being me, but I dont' think everyone has to agree or keep their mouth shut. Differing opinions are what makes threads interesting. If we all just posted "I agree" who would want to read it?

I don't think having an opinion different from the OP is necessarily rude.

Just my two cents.

People can have differing opinions without being rude or unkind. You never know when the other guy was actually right. Plus I don't post to have somebody tell me I am stupid and it has happened.

I think it's great that people have differing opinions, it makes for a good discussion. I also agree that some people are very passionate debaters (if pushed I'm right in there like a dirty shirt). I think it's great to disagree but not to attack or threaten others. Sometimes in the heat of the moment the line between debating and sitting under a bridge poking at people can be blurred and I know that I'm not exempt. Here's to friendly posts

You can respectfully disagree with someone, and try not to hurt feelings, and still have your say.

I really hope that people are coming off rude when that is not the intention. Maybe posting is like speaking and sometimes you just pop off with something that you don't really mean or haven't really thought about.

I am not opposted to opinions. Those I posted are MY rules, not what I expect others to do. What I am so tired of seeing are rude responses to people. Everyone here is looking for answers to one thing or another. It is not necessaryto be rude.
