I got in some golden cuckoo maran eggs today from Pasofino Farm and not 1 broke! I also got in khaki campbell duck eggs from elsewhere, and had 2 broken totally open, and 2 cracked. I put the 2 cracked ones into the incubator with the rest just in case.

Why do some of you let the eggs settle first? Did I screw up by putting them straight into the incubator?

I have 4 hens setting on empty nest, I have about 2 doz eggs I was trying to sale, but no sale, so I should set em. Anyone care to cheer me on? Ive been cleaning coops and pens all day, I just dont feel like going back out there, Im tried................

I thought they were coming next week, and I'm not ready!!! I have 6 Wheaten Marans. I need a 100% hatch, preferably 50/50 for boys/girls.
