I just found out some shocking news about my duckling Poseidon. He is actually a She and i was very confused. Her new name is Bella. I was very suprised but i think it is a good thing.. I just wanted to keep people informed because i say Poseidon and now i will say Bella.

Happens a lot but most just keep the names they gave them to begin with which can be quite confusing when they are talking about their drake and his name is Alice.

LOL, that's funny. I also know a female duck named Fred, probably for the same reason that you named your duckling Poseidon, except she kept the name even when she was found out to be a girl.

Haha you guys a right... I could maybe keep the name so they dont get confused... hmm.. okay..

poseidon it is!

I figured it out because I went online and searched how do you tell a ducklings gender and it said that mostly it is the females who peep the most at a young age, and I realized that Poseidon and the other two females peep all day rather than my male, Buddy. Another way I found out was I had a friend come over and vent sex them..... It was sad to watch... But at least I got the information! XD I was sad because they were peeping a lot. I searched it before and gave the instructions to my friend. The good news is no ducklings or humans were harmed during the process! And I got to know their gender!
