I am so confused.

WHAT does this mean (DH, DS13, DD11) I have seen people using this type of acronymn on this forum often. It's something I have never seen anywhere else before. Im pretty sure it has something to do with Husband wife daughter son but wth does the D stand for. And are the numbers ages or what. Someone Please help.

The "D" stands for Dear, so DearHusband, DearDaughter, DearSon and so on. Some people number their kids if talking about more than one.
