Thanks everyone! I am cloud nine right now. I am so excited. The ONLY drawback.............I won't be able to talk to my chicken friends as much. But hey it's quality VS. quantity right?! You guys make me smile everytime I come here.

and yes smittys farm I am already thinking hmmmmm now in the spring I can afford new chickies and more chicken food etc.

Thanks for the grit tip a while back. I'm so excited that I found a small local feed store that carries it by the pound (50 cent a lb) I had been searching everywhere. I love this website!

Good to hear you found grit close to home. It doesn't seem right to have to pay for shipping little rocks does it?!

I start on Tuesday. Its a little scary thinking about getting up in front of people and instructing. I have a friend that works there, shes been there 5 years. She told me no worries I will be great. :|
Shes a very nice lady so I know I will get alot of tips from her.

I need to have training for the first few weeks so I will have time to get used to things.

I couldn't beleive the shipping or the cost for grit online. It didn't seem like that much until I found it for 50 cents a pound. I agree that it's to much to pay for rocks, but I needed it at the time.

Keep us posted! I'm trying to decide if I should get out in the crazy shopping crowd or stay home where it's warm.
