Tomatoes,Okra,Zuccini(?),sweet potatoes,cabage,broccoli,carrots,lettuce,parsnips and peppers.

I want to start some raised bed gardens too. I'm in FL and the hot summer sun, insects and pests are my biggest problem. Do you have any trouble where you are?

Yes, with all that you mentioned. Water often and carry a spray bottle of soapy water when ever I am out there. Squash vine borers and squash bugs are hard to stop but DE and soapy water makes life hard for everything else.
