I biting my nails!!!

I am getting VERY nervous!! My jumbo coturnix are on there 17th day and I do not have ANY signs of life nothing!!! I had something I think bad happen my bator was smelling VERY bad I took a flash light and looked in say a cracked egg may have been cracked IDK anyway it was rotten (VERY) rotten. I took it out the embryo was not developed at all... I am wondering if I have a batch of unfertile eggs? I got them on ebay is it possible that 138 eggs be not fertile? Just wondering I am going to wait.... I am trying to be patient but..... I want them!!!!

Coturnix hatch on 18th day.. be patient! I had some hatch as late as the 21st, especially if your incubator is running low. They pip and zip so fast sometimes you dont see anthing and then all the sudden there is a chick in there. Go find something else to do

I have been trying I have cleaned the house the yard the coops the.... Everything. Haha Just kidding I am trying to be but the rotten one kinda got me scarred. I am a little paranoid that I have been scamed or something I don't know just one of those days.. been raining to long here kept me in the house thinking of the eggs to much...

the first time I hatched cortunix quail I got 24 eggs about 19 made it after shipping dang usps then a couple were clear and one ended up smelling nasty around a week in , but I ended up with 8 baby quail and I was very happy , be prepared for eating pooping maniacs lol I was giveing them fresh food and water 3 times a day or more and changeing there bedding every day they grew SOOOOOOOO Fast they were almost completly featherd out at 2 1/2 weeks

I have heard they grow real quick. I still have no movement or pips but I am keeping my fingers crossed. I really hope everything goes good. I will let you guys know as soon as it happens.

It is possible that all of them are bad, but highly unlikely, especially this time of year. Coturnix can take from 18-21 days to hatch, so don't freak out too badly just yet! Mine always seemed to hatch overnight, so you just might wake up in the morning to cooing, peeping baby quail!!

Got 21 this morning......well as of now when I got up we have 13. Man they had me worried.
