It's hard to tell by these pics, but they look like speckled Sussex. The females grow big combs quickly too.

Here's my female speckled Sussex last year as a chick.

On the far right

With sexing the speckled Sussex, judging by their tail is easiest. Long tail is pullet, short tail cockerel. Your chick really looks like a speckled Sussex to me.

Does it have saddle feathers? Can't really tell. It's throwing a roo vibe, but don't quote me on that, lol
