I bought Engish Lavender Hatching eggs, one just hatched and it's dark grey...

All the pics I see are light grey. Is this not a lavender??

you say "just hatched", is the chick dry yet? color/shade changes as they dry.

that's the best pic I can get! I don't want to open the incubator. It didn't hatch out of the blue egg btw. It just wandered over there. haha It hatched just a couple of hours ago.

Well, that was my first thought......it's not an Orp from that blue egg

. I think it's still just wet, give it time to dry and see how it looks then.
