I bought feed and opened it and i saw bugs!!!!!! Is this normal?

Oh the weevil infestation. Our cuboard got infested. Cleaning it out we found that they had come from a cup `O soup, eatten through the lid and then got into other products.

Another trick I learned from an ex-Navy cook: Sesamee seeds on bread hides the weevils.

I return it. My feedstore lady thinks I'm nuts, but I've returned several bags with bugs. Bugs deplete the vitamins and good nutritional content of the feed and also, grind it to powder. On my feed bags is a warning not to ever feed bug-infested feed. It isnt the same as them finding a bug on the ground.
