I bought three straight run BO from tsc I'm really bummed about the larger than life combs two of them have I have the WORST luck with straight run chicks...that is all....

how old are they?

this worried me about buying straight run Blue Americauna's, I bought 8 and I'm hoping upon hope to have at least 5 hens. One roo will go to the daughter and son in law, any other 'extra' roos will go up for sale on craigslist.....

I've had about 22 chickens since i started this process. 3 were killed by hawks, 1 was killed by a dog, 2 died of natural causes and something like 7 ended up being roosters. For a while i was giving away roosters weekly.

Oh gosh that's quite a run! Lol we've had numerous predator issues off and on hate it!
