I broke down and bought a dozen eggs yesterday...

Man thats not good. ( its takes about 2 months for a chicken to molt)

I'm new to chickens...please tell me how to tell if my chickens are molting. I have 3 out of six laying consistently, two are new to the flock, so they are still adjusting and haven't laid in the 2 weeks they've been with me. When do they usually molt and how will I know other than less egg production?

I have 4 chicken eggs left in my fridge. Haven't had any of my 8 girls produce in over 2 weeks!
Even my ducks have slowed down. I get 1 egg every 2 days from them.
