I checked out the TSC parking lot today, they have cleared out some of the trailers. There are 50 parking spaces in total, but they are in groups of 22 or less double parking spaces with islands and road ways between them. There is a row of trees on the north side, and an asphalt curbing around the parking lot and driveway that prevents backing onto the grassy area. There is a delivery road around one side of the store with 7 parking spaces and a single lane road. The grass is starting to take hold, but still looks fragile for much foot traffic. It might work as long as we don't infringe on their customer parking. Skowhegan's parking lot is much bigger. I can take some photos of the area if they are wanted or needed;as I will be in Augusta again tomorrow and Friday.
I'm thinking it's too soon for the skowhegan TSC on june 13th. that is graduation weekend for lots of families, too soon to get much organized and with all the regulations up in the air- maybe we should hold off for now. Skowhegan is also have a farm rescue going on that day- kind of sees like a conflict, we sell ,they rescue.
that's just how I feel and they say if we wanted to just join in that would be fine but I think a separate date, so we can plan ahead and raise our fluffs to 4 weeks(or is it 3week) so they are feathered and people can buy just 1 if they want.
any thoughts?
my thoughts, someone should check into the local poultry club, see what they think of us hooking up with their fall show, i believe the spring show deal was you had to have a bird entered into the show, and it was a cheap entry fee. and of course your birds would need to be tested. but they excepted my nh certificate. if not that then
how about someone hosting at their place. sept ish,
unless tsc doesnt care and isnt worried, i am not.

Have a meeting with one club this month, will bring it up and see how it goes. Even if you just enter one bird your an exhibitor and there is no charge to set up at this point
Of course too like chickn mentioned blood test paper work would be needed (out of state is fine), it is usually checked at the door. That show of course is in Oct.
i think we can work threw this together, find a loop hole or a way around it. its worth looking into other ways about getting to the same point, and that is to meet up with other chicken folks to buy sell and trade.
