I came back to the farm today and found this........what is it?

I was out yardsaleing today in the next town over, and when i got back to the farm, there was a crate sitting near my chicken coop. My buddy goes you know anything about this bird being dropped off?

I was like omg, what if this bird is sick and some freak just dropped it off NEXT to my chickens....So i immediately went over to the crate and reached in, and got stabbbed in the hand by this.....

So i come to you wondering what the heck it is, thanks in advance for the help.

Some kinda game bird, I got one that looks just like that'n, aint sure exactly what kind.
 
Now thats a way to get rid of a roo that I havn't thought of before. He's a handsome fellow !
