I came back to the farm today and found this........what is it?

I was out yardsaleing today in the next town over, and when i got back to the farm, there was a crate sitting near my chicken coop. My buddy goes you know anything about this bird being dropped off?

then the panic set in.....

I was like omg, what if this bird is sick and some freak just dropped it off NEXT to my chickens....So i immediately went over to the crate and reached in, and got stabbbed in the hand by this.....

I WAS LIKE WOAH then Ouch......


So i come to you wondering what the heck it is, thanks in advance for the help.

oh and BTW i know its a chicken.....

That is a really pretty game rooster of some variety. I think.

If it's a fighting rooster then I'd recommend to cull him

He kinda reminds me of my Welsummer roo. Maybe a cross.
