I can’t tell really but I think they are both there I just checked on him since rooster has been locked away and bill is eating and looking a little better maybe it was the rooster but they seemed real tight always together and than today I seen him running a circle around bill so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to see

You should really catch him and find out what shape his eyes are actually in. Even if he makes a fuss about it. You are a human, he is a duck, you are stronger than him. Get someone else to hold him for you if you have to.

You def want to clean him up and there are things you can do. Saline wash people use that have contacts or make your own. Veterycin spray for wounds and infections. Terramycin eye ointment can be found at TSC also. Getting close up better pics can help us help him. Wrap him in a towel so he can't flap his wings.

I've seen some pretty horrific wounds chickens [roosters] have inflicted on ducks.
