I Can Hardly Wait

Although my girls are still many weeks away from their coop, my hubby started building today so it will be ready in plenty of time.

I came home today to a very nice start!

But, of course, my DH won't work on it again until next Saturday and I'm so anxious I can hardly stand it.

Here is the frame work:

It will house 4 chickens- 3 standards and 1 bantum. I'm just so excited- and none of my friends care- but I think the BYC folks will be excited with me. I can't wait for the finished coop!! I'm going to our local H4H store tomorrow (which I never knew existed until BYC!) to shop for a coop window and flooring. This is soo much fun!

And just for fun... here is a pic of my Polish Crested "GaGa" meeting my dogs...and one of my cats, too!
