So we are in a flash flood and I just recently moved my broody and her babies, and a few of my other birds to the old bigger coop. Thing is, it has no floor. I was paranoid that they were all sleeping in the rain, so I dragged myself out in this lightening storm to check on all my birds

My husband is asleep and I'm fairly certain he would kill me if he knew! LOL. Thankfully we are on a bit of a hill, and DH built this coop pretty solid despite using all recycled materials. The ground was still bone dry. I did disturb the babies though!

Whoa! Flash flood!?!?!?! Dang! I hope all is well!

Them little babies are so cute, popping their heads out like that - the "caption" idea looks right on!

Yeah, I'm actually shocked that their ground isn't even damp. Like I said though we are on a bit of a hill, so most of the water will run off, and down to the creek. In town though its pretty bad, roads closed, so my mama paranoia kicked in!
