I ordered 6 eggs from eBay I candled the eggs to make sure none was broken on the day I received them some was very porous so decided to place them into the incubator had to have alook tonight as it was worrying me decided not to leave feedback for the seller just yet wanted to see if I seen life in there tonight and two my amazement there's 4 that look great and 2 that look like there's nothing in there but will candle them again at the weekend it's got me all excited now carn't wait till I candle them again at the weekend
 
Hi guys just a quick question, I have Orpington chicken beautiful birds, they are 24 weeks, no sign of eggs yet. Do they need oyster shells or is grit satisfactory, if they need oyster shell will go out today.

This question should be posted in laying/behaviors section but 24 weeks for an Orpington is still young. I don't think my Orpingtons started laying until closer to 32 weeks...
 
Good luck to your babies! I have 2 whiterock eggs under a heating pad (on low). I turn them three times a day and wet them down every two. They seem to be growing fine. I'M EXCITED TOO! Can't wait to see if it works....
