Oh wow! We purchased two chicks from the hatchery we always use and whose birds look just like how they're supposed to look (although I'm clearly not an expert!) It doesn't matter since we don't have show birds or plan on breeding them, but no one likes deception.

Would you mind taking a look at this yellow bird and letting me know if its an Amercauna or not? Thank you!
