Hello! I have a 5 week old, think it’s an Araucana cross cuckoo marran! I’m wondering if it’s a pullet or cockerel! Any help is much appreciated!! Thank you! View attachment 2355510View attachment 2355511View attachment 2355512
Tad early. Rather large comb. Updates will be good.

Pullets. Beautiful birds you have there.

Just updated pictures, is it still looking to be a pullet?

Thank you for your help :)
First one is a cockerel. I'm sorry.
Second appears to be a pullet, update us when she's 12 weeks old.

I don't have any good photos yet but mine are Australorp-Welsummer mix chicks. Chicks are black with white on the upper chest area with black legs. My chicks I bought from the feed store last year one of the hens hatched three lovely chicks. By looking at them it looks like maybe I have two pullets and one cock. One is five weeks old as of Saturday, other two five weeks today. All chicks have black fluff but they are getting their feathers in. One seems taller than the other two. Two pullets have tails and the other one looks like has a bunny tail. Daddy is a Welsummer and Mama is a Australorp. One tail is not like the others. I think this one could be a cock but, not sure. I wanted to see if mama Australorp could hatch some eggs and she did. She brought the chicks out to the run after the other two hatched the next day.

Do you need close up photos in the run to tell?

Yes, though they might be too young to tell
