I don't think those are spurs, 6 weeks old is way too young for a chicken to get spurs that long.

Anyway, hens can have spurs too.

I have a two questions if you don't mind: what attributes caused you to determine Stormy (2nd) is female? I'm admittedly I total novice at sexing chickens, and her waddles threw me. Also, the copper colored silkie (Weird Al) at the end is my fifth and final chickadee-- are you thinking male? It was my guess that Stormy and Weird Al were dudes.... I would be so crushed if Lieutenant Floofers was a dude... she is sooooo floofy!!!!!
