Meet Chicken Little! This chick is just about 12 weeks old, and we are starting to wonder if she's actually a roo. She has more of a rounded hackle, but she has some iridescent feathers on her wings and tail. We live in a city that does not allow backyard roos, but she is my favorite so I'm not above keeping her anyway. I would love your thoughts on her (his?) gender.

This is our little girl Mocha, she is about 6.5 weeks old and we're starting to wonder if maybe she is actually a he because her comb is awfully red compared to our other ladies who are the same age.

Also could anyone tell us if she is actually an easter egger (which she was sold to us as)? She just looks nothing like some of our other girls who are easter eggers.

Definitely a cockerel. Comb and wattles are too red and developed, too early on. Pullets, regardless of breed, don't pink up until they are near laying age.
