Nothing says rooster to me yet.... but it can take a while to tell the sex of silkies.



Looks like a cockerel, but could you get a clear picture of the saddle feathers so I can be sure?

I got these chicks from a neighbor that was moving, I believe they're about 9 weeks old but I don't know how to tell the difference between cockeral or pullet...

Hello, we are new here and have been so grateful to have found you all! We are new to having chickens... we have 5 of what we were told are Ameraucana, but am aware (thanks to this forum) that they may be EE. He was honest and said that he didn't know if there are roosters in our little group. I tried to get good pics of a few. Can you help me sex and determine breed? Also, he thinks they are about 4-5 months old.
