Big red wattles at just 3 months old, means definitely cockerel.View attachment 1100877
These are 3 months old. They were all 4 supposed to be pullets but the lady I purchased from called and said there may be roosters in the hen house! Lol. Suggestions?
The lady also told me if they weren't crowing at 3 months old then they aren't roosters. I haven't heard them crow yet.Big red wattles at just 3 months old, means definitely cockerel.
The one with the bright red comb is a cockerel, he looks like a Cochin/Old English Game bantam mix. The light red looks like a Cochin mix, pullet. The black with gold is a Polish mix, pullet.
She will need company. And those two boys will start chasing and trying to breed her within another couple months. Best to rehome ASAP and get her some new friends. Introducing new birds tends to go pretty smoothly with a single bird to younger.Hello
I have 3 Easter Eggers. They must be around 2,5 months now. I am pretty sure I have 1 pullet and 2 cockerels. I definitely think the cream one is a cockerel, the brown a pullet and the other white one, I am not too sure. Please, can you confirm with me? Also, if I take the two cockerels away will the 1 pullet going to go crazy. Can i introduce another ( hopefully) pullet to the 2,5 month pullet? Thank you
