They are much too young to tell the gender at the moment. Please post again in a few weeks! These (hopefully) ladies are 8-10 days old. I know it’s probably too young, but if you had to hazard a guess? They are ancona/Australorp mixes.

Both are pullets! Thanks for posting!I have two Ameraucanas who are 16 weeks old. I still can't tell their sex. Phoenix, the one with the longer tail, has no beard or whiskers. Dove has both and barely any tail at all. Neither has a red comb.

#1- easter egger pulletView attachment 1533282 View attachment 1533283View attachment 1533285 2 months old. There are 3. They were sold to me as Ameracaunas but I think they are EEs. 1 is possibly a Brahma and leghorn mix, which I feel is a roo. For a few reasons. Not the best photos, they are hard to get close to.
The two lighter barred ones are most likely cockerels. The others are too young to be sure. How about these... You'll have to zoom in...

#1 is probably a cockerel, the others are too youngRescued a Black Jersey Giant mama and her babies, which are supposed to be crossed with Americaunas (she claimed they were both pure, but I didn’t see dad around when I went to the farm to pick them up.
I know it’s still early (they’re about 6 weeks), but any guesses?

Pullets. The one without a beard is definitely not an ameraucana, since all ameraucanas have beards and muffs.I have two Ameraucanas who are 16 weeks old. I still can't tell their sex. Phoenix, the one with the longer tail, has no beard or whiskers. Dove has both and barely any tail at all. Neither has a red comb.
The first one is a cockerel. The others are too young to be able to tell gender or breed.Breed and gender??
