This is my six-weeks old Light Brahma. I wingsexed him when he was less than 24-hours old and seemed to be male, but I don't know if it works with Brahmas. Do you think is a cockerel?

Too young. Tail shape and length don’t matter at that age.View attachment 2173980View attachment 2173981
I know they’re probably too young, but I have four splash isbar chicks. All the same age. Theee have the long vertical tails and one has a short somewhat fanned looking tail(top). Picture of the two. Is one a Of these a roo?

Easter egger cockerelThanks for this amazing, helpful thread! We got our first batch of six chicks in early April, all supposed to be pullets. Two Rhode Island Reds, two Buff Orpingtons, and two Araucanas. One of the buffs is clearly a roo, he's bigger and his comb is bigger and redder than the girl, and he crows at me in this adorable cracking puberty sort of way. We're going to try to keep him and get a couple more girls if we can. ETA: In my googling, I've figured out the Bunny here is actually probably an Easter Egger, not a real Araucana which is what they he/she was sold as. Our other "Araucana" looks much different from Bunny, which is why I suspected rooster, but now I'm much less sure. I'll try to get a pic of our other one, but she's more shy.
I'm almost positive one of the Araucanas is a roo as well, but I want to check here before I try to re-home him. This is Bunny. I tried to get a better body picture of him, but they all crowd around when I show up because I'm the food-bringer, I'll try to get one later if you need it. He's around 10 weeks old (this is not their permanent run, just a temporary area to keep them away from the lawnmower):
Pullet. If they all have combs that are the same color and size they could all be pullets.I have 8, 2month old blue Andalusion chickens, and was wondering if they are hens or cockerel how can I tell they all have the same colored comb?

So far, their coloring makes them look like pulletsIt is probably still too early but any guess with my Faverolles? They are 2 weeks today.
They are still pretty skittish so pictures were hard to get.
They are from a hatchery so probably darker than a show girl. I don’t see any black feathers but there are two chicks who I think appear a bit darker than the others. Basically, I‘m probably overthinking it and have no idea. Lol

I have a, similar looking chick! Really hoping for a pulletAll right, I have some in the flock who are definitely roosters and a couple who are definitely hens. And then I have these guys. Wide, flat combs but no "peas" or rows at all. No behavioural traits that make me say hen or roo. The other roosters have very defined combs already so I'm really not sure on these ones.
