i cannot upload pictures!

no matter what i try, when i go to the link "my uploaded pictures" and try to upload a picture, my browser does nothing. i have left it for several minutes. i can upload pictures to other websites no problem. i thought it might have to do with being new, but now i have access to all my profile parts, and the same thing continues to happen. whether it's pictures for my page, pictures for posts, or my avatar, nothing happens. i watched the video, and followed all the instructions, and got stuck at that same step. i'm at a loss!
are there system requirements? i have a mac...
please help me!

Which browser are you using? How big are the pictures (size in killobytes or megabytes)? What is the filetype of the pictures? Were the pictures taken with a digital camera or a phone camera?

i've tried with safari. the picture size is 144 kb, but it didn't make a difference whether i clicked "resize" or not. they are jpeg taken with a digital camera; yesterday i converted to the other supported file types and had no better luck. i've tried pictures straight off the memory card and ones i've downloaded onto my computer.

ok! i switched to firefox and it worked immediately! thanks for the idea!

That's odd... it shouldn't matter which browser you're using. Anybody else have problems with Safari?
